Nice to Meet ya!

This business was born out of a desire to empower and educate breastfeeding (nursing and pumping) mothers who are seeking to achieve their version of a successful breastfeeding journey. When my son was born, I went through two different lactation consultants who never fully listened to my story or took the time to dig deeper into the concerns I had. Finally I connected with a third consultant (Anne I love you!) who went the extra mile and was armed with the latest evidenced-based information. She was able to pinpoint what the problem really was, but most importantly, I felt like she really listened to me.

As exclusive pumping became my avenue to breastfeed, I found that limited resources existed for my specific circumstances. Once I found one specific account (Kristen @bemybreastfriend) I not only acquired the practical knowledge I needed to succeed, but I also gained confidence to embrace pumping long term. I’ve pumped and transported breast milk through over ten flights, long-haul car trips, 18 hour theme-park days, major holidays, and the day to day grind that is breastfeeding. It wasn’t easy, but I’m proud of my ability to adapt to the situation I found myself in and meet my goals.

My purpose is to serve as a space where moms can generally get relatable and reliable breastfeeding information, as well as where individually receive holistic breastfeeding support that addresses their true goals. Breastfeeding is meant to be done in community with encouragement from others.
